Al Ahly’s attacking player, Taher Mohamed Taher spoke following Al Ahly’s game against FC Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. 

In his post-match interview, Taher stated that our team analyzed the opponent very well; however, FC Bayern Munich managed to win the match as they have a lot of great players.

“We tried to do our best during the attacking and defensive phases. However, the two mistakes that we committed made us concede two goals.”

“Moreover, we tried to press their defensive line in the second half but we were unable to score. We will learn from our mistakes in the next match against Brazil’s Palmeiras.”

“We have a tough game ahead of us. I hope that we win and get the bronze medal and make our fans happy."

Al Ahly will face Brazil's Palmeiras on Thursday in the third-place playoff in the FIFA Club World Cup.
